These Terms govern your use of the website, mobile application, and platform operated for ثانوية المتفوقين الثانية (Second Al-Mutafawqeen Secondary School), Basra, Iraq. By accessing or using this platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

This platform is exclusively for currently enrolled students and active teaching staff of ثانوية المتفوقين الثانية. Access is not permitted for any other person. All accounts are created and managed by school administration and are non-transferable.

2. Account Security

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Do not share your password with anyone. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact school administration immediately.

3. Acceptable Use

You may use this platform only for legitimate educational and school communication purposes. You must not:

• Post content that is offensive, harassing, threatening, or inappropriate.
• Share content unrelated to school or educational matters.
• Attempt to access accounts, data, or features you are not authorised to use.
• Use this platform for any commercial, political, or personal promotional activity.

4. Chat Guidelines

Teachers are responsible for the content they post in channels and direct messages. Students have read-only access to class channels; direct messages are only permitted between a student and a teacher. Student-to-student messaging is not available.

5. Live Sessions & Broadcasts

Teachers may conduct live broadcast sessions and lectures through this platform, powered by LiveKit. During these sessions, your audio and video are transmitted through LiveKit's servers. Students attending live sessions must behave appropriately. Teachers may record sessions for later review, and by participating you consent to such recording.

6. Monitoring & Content Moderation

School administration may access messages and content on this platform when necessary for safeguarding, child protection, or disciplinary purposes. By using this platform, you acknowledge that communications are not private from school administration.

School administration also reserves the right to remove any message, file, or other content, and to suspend or delete any account, at any time and without prior notice, if these Terms are violated or if the content disrupts the school environment.

7. Disclaimer

This platform is provided on an as-is basis. The school makes no guarantees regarding uptime, data availability, or uninterrupted service. The school is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of this platform. The textbook PDFs in the Books section are official Ministry of Education publications; we obtain the files from mlazemna.com.

8. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
